- 8 slices of rustic bread
- 4 garlic cloves, halved
- 8 tomatoes, peeled and diced
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper
- fresh basil leaves, to garnish
- Preheat the grill. Lightly toast the bread on both sides. Rub each piece of toast with half a garlic clove and then return to the grill for a few seconds.
